Our tour group is spending its final day in Portugal. They took a tour of Lisbon, including the winding streets of Lisbon’s Alfama district. They were scheduled to visit the Castelo de São Jorge, the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and the Belém Tower.
In the evening, Saints were scheduled to enjoy a fado evening, a performance of traditional music. Performers presented a program of centuries-old ballad-like songs that tell stories of heartbreak, melancholy, and the hardships of everyday life.
Tomorrow, Saints will journey home. We can’t wait to see them!
