Varsity Sports For Male & Female Students

A Long & Storied History

The Saint Raphael Academy athletic program has a long and storied history dating back decades. We currently sponsor more than 20 varsity sports for male and female students, as well as many junior varsity and freshman teams. Our teams compete consistently for division and state titles and send athletes to college programs each year.

Athletics at the Academy, however, is about far more than winning. Our athletes gain lessons in character, discipline, accountability, and teamwork. They challenge their own limits and learn lessons that they take into the classroom and beyond.

At Saint Raphael Academy, we strive to educate the whole person, and we believe there are teachable moments inside and outside the classroom. Athletics is an integral part of the Academy experience. Each season our student-athletes gain lifelong lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, time management, and discipline – all while having fun and creating friendships that will last a lifetime. Whether you’re an established athlete that’s been playing a sport your entire life or someone looking to come out and try something for the first time, there is a place for everyone in Saints athletics.

What truly sets Saint Raphael Academy’s athletic programs apart are its people—coaches who teach and students who share their coaches’ and teammates’ enthusiasm. Our coaches take their roles as mentors seriously, and strong relationships between student-athletes and coaches are a hallmark of Saints athletics.
