SRA Abroad takes on a train ride! On this day, we said farewell to France and hello to Switzerland. Upon arriving in Switzerland, we found ourselves in the middle of a spring festival. Our students were able to see a parade to celebrate the end of winter (something us New Englanders were very happy to help with), explore local food stands, and experience beautiful scenes of Zurich. In the evening, we made it to our hotel in the height of the mountains. The students discovered a local playground and spent the evening enjoying a little extra fresh air. More to come with day six as we explore the Lucerne region of Switzerland!
