SRA Continues with Online Learning March 16-20
March 13, 2020
Saint Raphael Academy is pleased to announce that all of our teachers and students have completed their self-quarantine and none have tested positive for the coronavirus. The RIDOH has cleared us to open our doors and have students back on our campus next week.
However, as a result of the Governor’s press conference today and the guidance given by the Diocese, the school administration has opted to keep students at home and continue to educate them using virtual instruction, as we have been successfully implementing for the last two weeks. SRA has employed virtual learning since 2016, and we believe this is the best option under challenging times and in compliance with state leadership. As our country takes the necessary steps to protect all citizens, we want to do the same to safeguard our local community, but more importantly, our students and families. This will not impact our April vacation. It will remain intact.
As a faith-based Catholic high school, we keep all of our families who have been affected in our thoughts and prayers, and we will continue to pray for everyone who has been challenged with this virus.
