The Annual Fund
Click the cover above to read our most recent Annual Report, which includes many examples of our students' community service efforts.
Q. What is the Saint Raphael Academy Annual Fund?
A. The Annual Fund is the core of Saint Raphael Academy fundraising efforts. Annual Fund dollars are unrestricted funds, which directly support the school’s operating budget.
Q. Why does Saint Raphael Academy need an Annual Fund?
A. A growing Annual Fund is critical to the school’s financial health. Tuition dollars do not fully support the actual cost of educating a Saint Ray’s student. Like every private or Catholic school, Saint Ray’s needs unrestricted support from its constituents to close the gap between the income we receive from tuition and the actual cost of a Saint Raphael Academy education, which helps us keep tuition affordable for all.
Q. Why is my participation important?
A. Saint Raphael Academy relies on your support of the Annual Fund each year. Your gift has an immediate impact on the educational experience of the young women and men enrolled at SAINTS. In addition, the participation of those closest to Saint Ray’s is an important indicator of the strength of our school to prospective families and peer schools.
Q. What does my Annual Fund gift support?
A. Every aspect of Saint Raphael Academy’s campus life, including:
• Tuition Assistance
• Classroom and Laboratory Enhancements
• Campus Ministry Retreats
• Arts Programs
• Athletics Facilities and Equipment
• Faculty Professional Development
• Technology Upgrades
Q. How do I give? Can I pledge now and make my payments over time?
A.Saint Raphael Academy makes giving easy for you - We accept gifts online, at the above link; through the mail, to our Advancement Office. We also accept gifts of stocks and securities, and welcome pledges to be paid in installments. All gifts to the Annual Fund are tax deductible.
Q. How much should I give to Saint Raphael Academy?
A. Given the importance of the Annual Fund to the pursuit of academic excellence at Saint Raphael Academy, we ask that you make as generous and meaningful a contribution as you can. Gifts of any size can make a significant impact at Saint Ray’s, and we hope you will consider making the school a priority in your charitable giving.
As part of our Lasallian mission, Saint Raphael Academy offers a Catholic education to young people, without reference to their wealth or status in life. In order to fulfill that mission, we rely on the generosity of our many donors, whose contributions help to offset the cost of tuition for students and their families. Donors who choose to establish or support one of the many Scholarship Funds at SRA are vital members of our Lasallian family. Please contact our Development Office for information on how to set up your own scholarship fund.
To read about current scholarships, go to NAMED SCHOLARSHIPS and scroll through these descriptions, which are in alphabetic order sorted by scholarships that are in memory of, or in honor of, a person or persons, followed by scholarships connected with or in honor of a faculty or staff member.
To donate, use the PayPal link on the Named Scholarships page, but please designate which scholarship fund you are donating to. You may also mail a check to the Advancement Office.
Did you know your gift can go further if your company participates in a matching gift program? Employers may match your donation to Saint Raphael Academy! Ask your employer and we can assist with paperwork.
Underwriting special events such as the Annual Golf Tournament, the Fine Arts Gala, or Alumni Hall of Fame serves to defray the Academy’s expenses to produce these events. Your contributions are tax-deductible.
