SRA students and faculty to be honored by Bishop Tobin
On February 7, 2012
The following students will be recognized by Bishop Thomas Tobin for their commitment to faith, Church and community during an award ceremony to be held at the Catherdral of Saints Peter and Paul on March 11, 2012.
The Saint Timothy Award will be presented to Anamaria Artega, Andrea Asermely and Kelsey Malloy.
The Right To Life Award will be presented to Kristen Gauvin.
The Companion on the Journey Award will be presented to Mr. Michael Santilli, SRA Science Department Chair and Youth Minister at Holy Apostles Church.

St. Timothy Award for Excellence
This award seeks to recognize, from the Diocesan level, outstanding teens who exemplify Christian service, Catholic leadership and good moral standards.
The HUMAN LIFE AWARD for YOUTH
is an award given by the Diocese of Providence on an annual basis to outstanding junior and senior high school students that are Catholic and have a willingness to accept Bishop Tobin’s invitation to have an unconditional commitment to human life, to promote and defend human life at every stage, in every condition, through thought, word, deed and prayer.
The Companions on the Journey Award
is the highest adult recognition sponsored by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry. It is given annually in the Diocese of Providence to Catholic adults who have been active members in parish, school, and/or diocesan activities for youth for at least ten years.
