The award-winning Drama Club at Saint Raphael Academy is pleased to present “Pippin,” with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson.

“Pippin” is the story of a young man searching to find meaning in his life, told through a Leading Player and a performance troupe.  It is a coming-of-age story filled with passion, adventure, romance and magic.  Throughout his journey, Pippin encounters many challenges.  He fights against self-doubt, mediocrity, tyranny and disaster.  The play is one of the longest-running shows on Broadway and particularly noted for its musical score.

Show times are November 30-December 2, 2017, at 7:30 pm with a matinee on December 3 at 2 pm.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.  To reserve tickets, call the box office at 723-8100 x160.

The Saint Raphael Academy Drama Club has won the State Drama Festival 23 times, including their most recent win last year for their one-act play “No Rhyme, No Reason: Then and Now.”  Performances are held in the state-of-the-art Joseph and Blanche Coutu Theater at 43 Maynard Street, Pawtucket, RI.
