On Sunday, October 2nd, the NFL kicked off their campaign “A Crucial Catch”, a partnership with the American Cancer Society. “A Crucial Catch” is focused on the importance of raising funds and awareness for breast cancer.

Throughout October, NFL games will feature players, coaches and referees wearing pink game apparel to help raise awareness for this special campaign.

St. Raphael Academy, has chosen our Homecoming game, Friday October 21st at 7pm vs. Tolgate to participate in the “A Crucial Catch” efforts!

Wednesday October 19th as Cancer Awareness Day during spirit week. Students will wear pink to represent all forms of cancer that affect millions each year and many in our own community. Glow in the dark pink bracelets and football die cuts will be sold to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Staff and students can sign the football die cuts in honor or memory of loved ones or friends who have battled cancer. They will be displayed at the Homecoming game and dance over the weekend. Pink bracelets will also be sold at the football game to alum and all football fans. We are very proud to be supporting the American Cancer Society as a Saints community.
