Girls Soccer

The Saint Raphael Academy girls soccer team has enjoyed a lot of success during the past 3 years due to an array of talent amongst the different classes.  In 2008, the team clinched the Division III State Championship, the first in the teams’ 11 year history, by defeating heavily favored North Smithfield in the semi-finals and undefeated Tiverton in the finals.  Just this past season, the experience of the upperclassmen as well as a strong incoming freshman class, were able to capture the Division III North crown, going undefeated in the regular season.  In 2011, another winning season is expected.  Having only graduated 3 seniors, the girls plan to make a run for a championship.
