Why SRA?

Be Welcomed.

.
Saint Raphael Academy has always been and will always be the school of choice for students of Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts who are looking for a Catholic, diocesan, coeducational, college preparatory education, but in an environment where each and every student feels welcomed. Saint Raphael Academy is not your typical high school, with a 12-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio, a student population of about 440 students, and a 7-building campus; we are a school that is just the right size. We are large enough to offer our students a comprehensive and competitive college preparatory high school experience, but we’re small enough so that students aren’t just names on an attendance list. At Saint Raphael Academy, we are more than just a school community, we are family.

Be Inspired.

.
At Saint Raphael Academy, we are interested in more than just a student’s academic, athletic, or artistic abilities, we are interested in the whole development of a student: spiritual, academic, cultural, and physical. We are a Catholic school founded in the tradition of Saint John Baptist de La Salle and rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Beyond the required classes in theology and participation in the spiritual and pastoral life of the school, the Academy prepares and inspires each student for a life dedicated to learning, leadership and service to the Church and community.

Be Challenged.

.
Saint Raphael Academy is one of the finest and  most challenging Catholic, college preparatory high schools in the area. It boasts a 12-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio, 49 state titles to its credit, and triumph in a total of 20 state drama festivals since 1951. The Academy has prepared over 7,000 young women and men for some of the best colleges and universities in the country, and the Academy’s graduates have gone on to become the foremost professionals in business, law, medicine, education, science and engineering.
